A picnic to introduce the organization to members of the Sudanese community September 14, 2002: The SAWO organized a family picnic to introduce the organization to members of the Sudanese community residing in the Washington metropolitan area. Members of the Executive Committee and their offices were introduced and the organization's main mission and objectives were highlighted. Several Sudanese popular singers participated in this large family gathering.
